p.s. My John Carter married a ” Cenie ” – therefore ” Cenie Carter ” and so I wondered about that ” Sina ” name & that’s why I jumped ahead to research your “Sina “. Now to get back to my Carters .

Reading yours reminded me that I have a few more to solve in Ohio but I was so piqued by your story that I wondered myself ( and since we both are working in Brown Co., Ohio ), I found Lewis Carter’s death record where he listed his mother as ” Sina Carter “.His father as “— Carter ” .
