It’s the Caldwell United Methodist Church, it’s located right on the corner of Washburn Place and Academy Rd in the heart of Caldwell. Funny enough it’s just minutes away from all the Thorward houses and even the Meat Market.

My Grandpa says that there should be tons of documentation on the Thorwards and the church, because they helped bring it to Caldwell. A distant cousin of mine said that he found quite a bit of information at the library too, but didn’t have the time needed to document it all. When I get to Caldwell the next time, the library and church are going to be my first stops!

I have been following this Diary for quite a while. As I live in North Jersey, but the other side of the state, I am familiar with the places that are mentioned throughout the diary.

I went back through the diary trying to identify the Church / Sunday School that has been mentioned, but didn’t find any mention of it specifically.

In your research, to you have a Church Name and location?
